These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between you, the patient, or patient's representative ("You"), and Kured Functional Health ("We", "Us", or "Our").
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of SMS/Text Messaging services provide by Kured Functional Health.
By opting in to receive SMS/text messages from Kured Functional Health, you agree to the following:
1. SMS Consent Communication
Information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. Types of SMS Communication
If consent has been given to receive text messages from Kured Functional Health, messages may be received related to customer/patient care:
- Appointment reminders, confirmations, and notifications (new appointment, reschedule, cancellation, and surveys).
- General wellness check-ins or preventive health reminders (e.g.; follow-up visit, vaccine shot).
- Clinic announcements (holiday closures, new services, health events).
- General health information and practice updates as you requested.
- Billing/payment reminders (without detailed/sensitive PHI).
3. No Medical Advice by SMS
Text messages from our clinic are for informational purposes only. They should not be used for medical advice.

- In an emergency, dial 911 immediately.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. Generally, you may receive 5-10 SMS messages per month related to appointments, services, and billing.
5. Privacy & Security
- Text messages are not encrypted and may be read by anyone with access to your phone.
- We will never include sensitive health information, such as diagnosis, test results, or treatment details, in text messages.
- By opting in, you acknowledge and accept these privacy risks.
6. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging
Standard message and data rates may apply, depensing on trhe carrier's pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
7. Opt-In Method
Opt-in to receive SMS messages from Kured Functional Health can be done by submitting an online form.
8. Opt-Out Method
Opting out of receiving SMS messages can be done at any time by replying "STOP" to any SMS message received. Aletrnatively, you can directly contact us through our phone number to request the removal from the messaging list.
9. Help
For any issues, reply with the keyword "HELP". Alternatively, help can be obtained directly from calling us at (805) 702-7800.

If SMS messages are not desired, the SMS consent box on the online contact form can be left unchecked.
